SALARY$19 to $25 per hour, depending on CNC experience, demonstrated skill level, and assigned shift.
SCHEDULEFull-time, long-term opportunity. Candidates must be available for one of the following compressed schedules:
- Thursday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Friday through Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Load raw materials and parts into CNC machines.
- Start, stop, and monitor equipment to ensure it runs properly and efficiently.
- Keep automated equipment and robotic loading systems supplied with material.
- Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy.
- Use six-inch calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to confirm parts meet specifications.
- Read and follow company prints, work instructions, and production requirements.
- Identify quality or equipment concerns and report them to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
- Learn additional troubleshooting and basic programming adjustments as skills develop.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR- Minimum two years of previous CNC machine operating experience, particularly for the compressed weekend schedules.
- Experience loading raw materials, starting and stopping CNC equipment, and monitoring machines during production.
- Ability to use calipers to measure finished parts and verify accuracy.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, observation skills, and safety awareness.
- Dependable, coachable, communicative, and willing to ask questions when something doesnt look right.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position is performed in an active manufacturing and CNC machine-shop environment with moving equipment, machinery noise, oil, and automated systems. Employees must be able to lift approximately 40 pounds, use proper lifting techniques, and request assistance when needed. Long pants and secure, closed-toe footwear are required. Oil-resistant footwear is strongly recommended.
