About the role:
The Machine Operatorrole requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication, and superior customer care. What you’ll do:
- Plan machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances
- Evaluate programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
- Process each order per customer specifications
- Verify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by management
- Maintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, notifying warehouse lead, and/or calling for repairs
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and needs
- Maintain quality parts and processes by visually and dimensionally inspecting parts, production paperwork, with inspection reports completed upon receipt at each department
- Adhere to basic housekeeping standards and safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.)
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs
- Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:
- Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
- Experience with maintaining machines a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Follow all safety procedures
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process
- Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process
- (Preferred) – High School Diploma or GED
