    Description

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for monitoring production processes, inspecting products for quality, operating production equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced production setting, follow quality standards, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor multiple production machines and production runs according to manufacturing schedules.
    • Perform routine quality inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet company standards.
    • Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to supervisors or designated personnel.
    • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including presses, conveyors, and grinders.
    • Separate approved and rejected products according to quality requirements.
    • Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment or further processing.
    • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation as required.
    • Clean and organize production equipment, conveyors, workstations, and surrounding work areas.
    • Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors and removing waste materials.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines.
    • Assist with assembly, inspection, and other manufacturing tasks as needed.
    • Perform additional duties based on business needs and operational requirements.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
    • Basic math and computer skills preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and lifting throughout the shift.
    • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and production equipment.
