This position is based onsite in Whitsett, North Carolina and the base schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am with overtime as needed. To learn more about RegO, please visit our website at: www.regoproducts.com Scope: Machine operators are tasked with running mill and lathe machines to produce high-quality valve and regulator parts. These individuals read blueprints, start and operate manual and CNC machines, perform quality checks with various gauging equipment, and perform minor preventative machine maintenance. Individuals have knowledge or experience in machine operations, a keen eye for quality control and safety, the ability to solve problems and perform basic mathematics, and the desire to develop and expand their skills in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: 2-3+ years experience running CNC machines (Tornos, Mori-Seiki, New Britain, Mazak, Citizen, Kingsbury, Riello, Hydromat, Doosan, Daewoo, Bridgeport, Frontier) Experience using Go/No-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges and concentricity gauges to inspect Load bars into bar feeders contingent upon part Ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing Demonstrate safe manual deburring techniques Ability to understand tool layouts Demonstrate manufacturing problem solving and escalation Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures Education & Requirements: High school diploma or GED Machining or Trade school Ability to read blueprints a plus Ability to change filters & proper disposals, add coolant & lube a plus Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and basic shop mathematics, including measuring and effectively using calipers and other measuring tools Integrity - Reliability, Responsibility and Accountability Ability to learn new machines and production procedures Must be a team player and willing to adapt to an ever-changing work
