Heavy Equipment Operator

Trade Management is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for various construction projects throughout the Houston area. We are looking for dependable candidates with at least 1 year of experience operating one or more types of heavy equipment, including backhoes, skid steers, forklifts, or excavators.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy construction equipment based on your experience and qualifications
• Operate equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, forklifts, and excavators
• Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, material handling, and general site preparation as needed
• Follow project plans, site instructions, and safety procedures
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance concerns
• Work safely around other construction trades, crews, and active jobsites
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Pay

$18-$25/hour, depending on experience and equipment skills

Schedule

Full-time | Approximately 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating at least one type of heavy equipment, such as:

• Backhoe

• Skid Steer

• Forklift

• Excavator

• Experience working on active construction sites

• Knowledge of construction site safety practices

• Ability to follow directions and work safely around other trades

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Experience operating multiple types of equipment is a plus, but candidates only need 1 year of experience operating one of the listed machines.
