What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • One of the following:

  • 2 years in a mechanical, maintenance, or machining trade school plus manufacturing experience

  • Associate degree in a related field and 3 years of manufacturing experience

  • 5 years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment

  • Intermediate knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production operations

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly documents, and control plans

  • Experience using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including scanning devices and manufacturing systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed

  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

What You'll Do as a Machine Parts Assembler:

  • Assemble engine sub-systems using hand tools, gauges, fixtures, Loctite, liquid nitrogen, and lubricants
  • Perform leak testing of engine components using multiple testing methods and technologies
  • Compile workpieces, engine components, and materials according to specifications
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Verify part conformance using calipers, micrometers, gauges, templates, and fixtures
  • Position and align components for installation into larger assemblies
  • Test completed assemblies and record inspection results according to quality requirements
  • Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts and assemblies as needed
  • Report quality concerns, tolerance deviations, equipment breakdowns, incorrect parts, and leakage issues
  • Inspect, operate, and test completed products to ensure compliance with Rolls-Royce specifications
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
  • Support special projects and assist in other production areas as needed
  • Promote and uphold the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Rolls-Royce products, policies, and procedures
  • Experience operating CNC milling equipment
  • Ability to obtain hoist and powered industrial vehicle certifications, including Flatbed, Hi-Lo, and Mule equipment
