Duties:
- Requires the ability to install, service, dismantle, rebuild and maintain in operating condition various machines and equipment throughout the plant.
- Also must be able to diagnose trouble, determine methods of repair, make installations, plan layout, move and complete work on machines or equipment with minimum of supervision.
- Must have knowledge of construction and machine design prints, shop mathematics and a minimum of 5 years experience in this type of work. Have necessary standard tools.
- Work close tolerances as required and make simple parts if needed. Will do general maintenance functions as required at the direction of the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent (required)
- 2-5 years Machine Repair experience (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Constant standing/walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and reaching
- Ascending/descending ladder, scaffolding, or stairs
- Grasping, manipulating, or assembling objects with hands/fingers
- Clear vision (near/far/peripheral) and hearing for safety
- Must have necessary standard tools
