Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machine Repair & Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial maintenance background, solid mechanical skills, and the ability to perform basic facility maintenance as needed.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues on production equipment
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Assist production teams with machine-related issues
Maintain and organize maintenance parts inventory
Complete routine inspections to identify potential equipment problems
Perform light facility maintenance as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance schedules
Qualifications
Previous industrial machine repair or maintenance experience required
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Basic building maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, etc.)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
