Description
Machine Set Up (Mills)
Shift: 2nd, (3pm-1am)
Pay: $24-$30/hr (Based on Experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Setup Technician (Mills) to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a detail oriented professional with strong machining knowledge who is looking for long term growth within a stable and supportive company. Candidates who are motivated, dependable, and eager to expand their skill set are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
- Set up and operate computer-controlled milling machines to perform machining functions on a variety of workpieces
- Machine parts according to engineered drawings and specifications with a high level of precision
- Interpret blueprints and ensure all work meets quality standards
- Maintain machines, tools, and overall work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate process changes, issues, and updates clearly and effectively
- Manage workflow and adhere to production schedules to maximize efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience with machine setup, specifically milling machines
