The Machine Shop Helper supports machinists and production staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Machine Shop Helper role involves material handling, shop organization, deburring, and assisting with daily production tasks. The ideal Machine Shop Helper is dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building long-term manufacturing skills.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Basic manufacturing or shop experience is helpful, but not required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist machinists with daily production and shop tasks
Move, load, and unload raw materials and finished parts
Deburr, clean, and inspect machined parts
Operate basic shop equipment including band saws, drills, and grinders
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support production flow and assist with additional duties as assigned
Additional Information
Training provided no machining experience required
