Job Description

Pay Range: $16.07hr - $21.07hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will perform general duties to support machine operators, assist with materials handling, load and unload trucks, set up parts for processing, and maintain a safe and organized workstation.

Responsibilities:

  • Removes and weighs chips.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Sets up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
  • Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order.
  • Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines.
  • Reports any observed problems to the supervisor, whether related to the storage and placement of parts or machine malfunctions.
  • Maintains a safe and organized workstation while following all safety rules and organization policies.

Skill/Knowledge:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and manlift to approved OSHA standards.
  • Overtime during weekdays and/or on Saturdays is required as requested by the supervisor.
