Seeking a FT Machine Shop Helper for an aerospace manufacturer.Job DutiesFollow directions for the handling and disposing of hazardous wastes, such as toner, oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, auto parts cleaner, and similar materialClean the shop equipment and work area as instructedParticipate in organization of shop tools and partsHelp production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipmentRemove and maintain chips from machining operations until recycledEnsure solids scrap bins are properly identified and monitoredMove and stage materials & suppliesClean up shavings from machine areasMove raw and scrap materials, finished products and equipment throughout the facilityPerform necessary housekeeping activities, this includes, but is not limited to, the picking up of all debris that results from production activities, this includes proper storage of all materials and equipment when they are not in use as well as all other materials which may be offensive or hazardousWork with Machine operators loading parts into machineryOperate forklift and/or overhead crane moving parts only as directed and trainedDeliver parts and or materials to work areas as requiredRequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED requiredPrevious manufacturing or warehouse environment preferredAble to read and interpret job orders and other documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualMust be able to lift and carry a minimum 50 Lbs.HoursFirst Shift: Mon. - Thurs., 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Second Shift: Mon. - Fri., 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.Third Shift: Mon. - Fri., 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.Weekend Shift Day: Fri., Sat., Sun., 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.Weekend Night: Fri., Sat., Sun., 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.#J-18808-Ljbffr
