Cornell Pump Company is looking for a hands-on Machine Shop Lead to guide our 2nd shift team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist who's ready to take ownership of operations, support a skilled team, and make a real impact on production, quality, and workflow.

Location: Clackamas, OR

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Swing shift 2:30pm to 11pm

Hourly Pay: $38.00 to $41.00 (+$1 Shift Differential)

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and support a team of machinists and operators on swing shift
  • Keep production on track while maintaining high quality standards
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC mills and lathes
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices
  • Ensure parts meet specs through inspections and in-process checks
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
  • Coordinate with day shift to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Address downtime issues and partner with maintenance as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of machining experience (CNC preferred)
  • 1–2+ years in a lead or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and G/M code
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
  • Experience with CNC setup and troubleshooting
Bonus if you have experience with:
Haas mills, Mazak horizontal mills, or Fanuc-controlled lathes
