We are currently hiring an experienced Shop Welder for a well-established industrial manufacturing and machine shop operation in the Midland area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable welder looking for steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding on a variety of metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
Fabricate, repair, and modify parts, piping components, and equipment to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and shop drawings
Fit, tack, and weld materials accurately to required tolerances
Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding
Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity
Operate shop tools such as grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication equipment
