Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in machine operation and/or CNC machines (mills, lathes, and routers).
• Experience operating waterjet cutters, plasma equipment, band saws, forklifts, cranes, or hoists preferred.
• Manufacturing, fabrication, or material handling experience strongly preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Resume and interview required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to safely move heavy materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.

Job Duties

• Operate waterjet cutting machines and band saws to cut materials to specification.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Machine Technician you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.

A Machine Technician manufactures precision components using computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to produce consistent, high-quality parts. This role combines technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to support modern manufacturing operations.

Successful Machine Technician professionals understand machining principles, blueprint interpretation, tooling selection, machine setup, and dimensional inspection while maintaining tight tolerances and production efficiency.
