Our Client is seeking skilled Machine Technicians to support CNC woodworking equipment and automated production systems in a modern manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring high-quality production output.
The ideal candidate has experience with CNC equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Schedule
Four 10-hour days between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, or
Four 9-hour days plus 4 hours on Friday
Overtime as needed
Machine Technicians may participate in an on-call rotation to support critical equipment issues outside normal operating hours
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC woodworking equipment
Load programs, change tooling, and adjust machine settings
Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related machine issues
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Read work orders, technical drawings, and machine documentation
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
Communicate equipment concerns and improvement opportunities
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of CNC machine operation or maintenance experience
Strong understanding of CNC controls, tooling, and machine setup
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Experience with Homag, Biesse, SCM, Schelling, Weeke, or similar equipment
Cabinet, furniture, millwork, or woodworking manufacturing experience
Electrical or PLC troubleshooting experience
