The Machinery Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. This includes trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.

This position does not have any supervisory duties.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions will be in a field environment usually at a worksite. May be exposed to arduous weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold. Must be physically fit and able to lift over 50 lbs. throughout the day. Will be required to bend, stoop, or reach. Must have use of both hands and good eyesight.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Hard hats may be required if on a worksite along with long sleeve shirt and pants. If working in a traffic area a safety vest is required. Must wear work boots. Required PPE will be provided during onboarding.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
Must be knowledgeable of front-end loaders, track and rubber-tired backhoes, trenching machines, compacting machines and equipment, bull dozers, cranes, and rollers.
