Job Title: Maintenance Tool Electrician
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the Electrician/Maintenance Mechanic provides electrical and mechanical support for machinery and equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
Responsibility:
Install electrical systems and components and support the building of new machinery.\u202f
Visually inspects and tests machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions and dismantles. devices to\u202f\u202f
gain access to problem areas.\u202f
Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on CNC Machines.\u202f
Design and build machine controls systems.\u202f
Maintains, upgrades, and installs electrical systems within facility.\u202f
Troubleshoot and repair machine controls.\u202f
Performs routine preventative maintenance.\u202f
Other duties as assigned.\u202f
Academic/Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent\u202f
5 to 10 years' industrial maintenance experience or experience in specialized trade or skill set.\u202f
Certification in PLC Controls strongly preferred.\u202f
Required Skills/Experiences:
Basic knowledge of PLC's.\u202f
Ability to effectively communicate with others.\u202f
Must be able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.\u202f
Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude.\u202f
Ability to work independently and efficiently with little to no assistance.\u202f
Possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical concepts.\u202f
Ability to identify root cause and solve problem.\u202f
Contribute to continuous improvement.\u202f
Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision\u202f
Demonstrated good housekeeping practices and 5S principles.\u202f
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.\u202f
Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.\u202f
