We're looking for a skilled Grinding Machinist to machine, repair, and finish critical aerospace components to precise specifications. In this hands-on role, you'll operate CNC and manual grinding equipment, inspect your work, and ensure every part meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.
Shift: Monday-Friday (Days may fluctuate due to business needs, Monday-Sunday) | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Shift Differential: $1-$3/hour based on assigned workdays Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipment
Machine and repair precision aerospace components to close tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, and other precision measuring tools
Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
Perform routine equipment maintenance and complete inspection documentation
Operate overhead cranes and safely handle parts and materials
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating grinding equipment preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
Ability to work independently with attention to detail
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
