Essential Functions:
• Keys in or downloads provided programs into manual, semi-automatic, and automatic mills, lathes, and other related machines employing recognized tooling and procedures with tolerances that are close but not difficult to maintain. • Works from detailed instructions, standard coding, and operational data to change or mount tools and to position work pieces. • Operates control console to orient spindle and check work position at specified reference points. • Adjusts machine and fixture stops to maintain tolerance requirements. • Interprets part drawings when applicable, uses required measuring instruments to check machine positioning, and inspects work. • Recognizes and reports machine malfunctions, tooling difficulties, etc. • De-burrs parts, performs final inspection, completes paperwork, and prepares parts for transport to packaging.

Ideal Candidate Profile
CNC machinists with a diverse background in lathe and/or mill operation Strong shop aptitude; math and measuring skills are a plus Courteous and dedicated to providing excellent service through quality work Ability to learn and work in a quick pace environment.
Position Qualification & Requirement
Requires a high school education or GED. Diversified manufacturing experience preferred, including a working knowledge of machining techniques and experience with numerically controlled machines.
