QUALIFICATIONS:
USA Citizenship a Requirement.
Driver License or Chauffeurs License.
Minimum 5+ Years experience in running a Boring Mill or CNC Center.
Knowledge in reading blueprints & understanding machining principles.
Ability to drive forklifts & trucks.
Organized Handling of Materials & Paperwork.
Self-motivated & Ability to multi-task and work with peers.
JOB DUTIES: MACHINIST (CNC & BORING MILL):
Ability to read blueprints with a strong understanding of geometric symbols, machine specifications and various surface finishes.
Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude, with ability to dimensionally layout details from drawings.
Ability to both set-up & operate a wide variety of machine tools and equipment (i.e. CNC Machining Centers, Lathes & Boring Mills).
Ability to perform part inspections, and use of various metrology equipment for inspecting parts for compliance & quality.
Self-starter with ability to efficiently manage tasks, and daily work requirements to keep projects on schedule.
Ability to physically meet the demands of the job and have an eye for detail and quality.
Knowledgeable in industry safety practices, and general equipment maintenance.
Ability to work with others and operate in a team-oriented workplace.
