Experienced CNC and Manual Machinist

A local company is currently recruiting directly for a skilled machinist with 5+ years’ experience in CNC and manual machining. Applicants should have at least 5 years’ recent experience performing all aspects of setup and operation of CNC and manual vertical machining. Experience performing precision machining over production machining needed. Machinists must possess the ability to calculate and set up controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, depth and cut angle, tool wear, etc. Applicants should also be willing to cross-train in other skills and areas (i.e. lathe work, water jet, programming).

Experience must include:

• CNC Machining
• Bridgeport work
• Squaring height, thickness, and length
• Proficiency with inspection gages

· From work & tight tolerances

• Blueprint reading

Other experience preferred:

• CNC lathe
• Manual lathe
• Surface grinding

Compensation based on skill level and experience. Only those selected for interview will be contacted.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
