Our client is a well-established precision machining firm in the Castle Hayne, NC area seeking multiple Machinists across varying skill levels and disciplines to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with either CNC or manual operations of mill and/or lathe equipment.
Job Responsibilities -
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual and/or CNC Lathe and Mill machining equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, job tickets, and print specifications to produce parts to exact requirements.
- Use precision measurement instruments to verify dimensions and tolerance.
- Adjust tooling before and during machining operations to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervision to prioritize workflow and hit daily production targets.
Job Requirements -
- 3-5 years of hands-on machining experience in CNC lathe, CNC mill, manual lathe, and/or manual milling.
- G-code programming knowledge and hands-on CNC machine setup experience.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and apply tolerances accurately in a production setting.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
- Dependable and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain quality output in a high-paced shop environment.
