    Full-time Machinist



    Job Overview



    We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machining, set-ups, and G&M code programming. This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



    Required Experience



    Candidates should have between 5 to 30 years of work experience in machining, with a strong focus on CNC operations.



    Key Responsibilities



    • Operate various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
    • Set up machines for production runs, including tooling, work-holding devices, and raw materials
    • Program CNC machines using G&M code, making necessary adjustments and optimizations
    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
    • Perform quality control checks and maintain precise tolerances throughout the manufacturing process
    • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality
    • Train and mentor junior machinists as needed
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
    • Document work processes, production data, and quality control results


    Required Skills and Qualifications



    • 5-30 years of experience in CNC machining
    • Proficiency in CNC machine operation, set-ups, and G&M code programming
    • Strong understanding of machining principles, metalworking, and manufacturing processes
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
    • Experience with various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites
    • Proficient in using precision measuring tools and gauges
    • Knowledge of quality control procedures and ISO standards
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications preferred

    As a Full-time Machinist, you will be responsible for the operation, set-up, and programming of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise in G&M code will be crucial in creating efficient and accurate machining programs. You will work with a variety of materials and be expected to maintain tight tolerances throughout the production process.
