Job Summary This high-volume production role provides on-the-job training for a motivated individual to launch a career in machining. We do not require prior machining experience—instead, we are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated reliability, meets performance expectations, and shows a genuine willingness to learn on the floor. Under the guidance of experienced machinists, you will learn to safely produce thousands of high-quality components. Responsibilities: - Setup machine as appropriate to machine specifications
- Setup and operate computer numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines.
- Perform highly repetitive short-cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units
- Ability to read and edit programs using Fanuc controls
- Work from written procedures, complex drawings and blueprints, sketches, operations sheets, specifications and instructions to plan work operations
- Prove out programs and edits as necessary
- Must know G-Code/M-code
- Use and interpret precision measuring instruments
- Changes tool off sets to maintain dimensions per production drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintain required time, production and quality records
- Determine and report any inefficiencies, defective materials, unusual conditions and machining issues
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
