Job Title: Machinist
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, DOE
Shifts Available: Day Shift and Swing Shift are available

Looking for a precision machining role with long-term career potential? Join a growing industrial manufacturing team as a Machinist, where you’ll work with CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality steel components used in large-scale industrial equipment.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with machining experience who enjoy hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications
  • Performing drilling, tapping, boring, milling, and precision machining operations
  • Measuring finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection tools
  • Monitoring machine operation and making adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
  • Selecting tooling, materials, machine settings, and operation sequences
  • Removing burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from machined parts
  • Performing basic machine maintenance and tool changes as needed
  • Moving materials and finished components using material handling equipment
  • Maintaining accurate production records and following all safety procedures

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous experience with CNC and/or manual machining preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong math and measurement skills with attention to detail
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to safely work with steel materials and machining equipment
  • Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Technical training or machining coursework is a plus
