    Key Responsibilities

    • Manufacturing Execution: Transform base materials into finished components by following specific work orders and technical requirements.
    • Equipment Operation: Configure and run diverse workshop machinery, such as Lathes, Mills, and Drill Presses.
    • Maintenance & Safety: Handle routine tool upkeep and calibration while strictly adhering to workplace protection protocols and safety guidelines.
    • Technical Literacy: Analyze engineering schematics and blueprints to verify that every part meets exact dimensional standards.
    • Programming Adjustments: Update and refine G&M code sequences to optimize machining cycles or correct errors.
    • Resource Management: Oversee inventory flow to reduce scrap and uphold a highly organized, professional workspace.

    Shift

    • 6:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32 increments, with a strong understanding of inch-to-decimal conversions.
    • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy.
    • Experience in using precision measuring tools, including digital and vernier calipers and micrometers.
    • Knowledgeable in dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials.
