ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings to machine parts.
- Sets-up and operates conventional and CNC machines.
- Reworks molds and tools damage.
- Completes related paperwork.
- Maintains clean work area and keeps machines clean
- Shows ability and desire to learn.
- Works as a team.
- Keeps a good work attitude
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visualizes and understands blueprints
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Exercises good judgement
- Ability to work towards the success of the team
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Entry-level though 1year experience in operating CNC, manual mills and lathe machines preferred
- Basic mathematical skills, additional skills in geometry and trigonometry preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to follow detailed and complex instructions
- Basic computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, standing, kneeling, walking and twisting
- Use of vibrating tools
- Hearing and speaking clearly
- Repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder or neck movement
- Precise dexterity
- Reading
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Lifting from floor to waist
- Reaching from shoulder level or below
- Seeing to distinguish colors, prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, to visually inspect and to measure/assemble at a close distance
- Frequent use of power tools and machinery
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to smoke/dust/wet and damp
- High noise level
