Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machining equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders

• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Meet production and quality standards

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of machinist experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience with precision measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
