Description
Machinist – Inventory / Tool Crib Specialist Looking for a Machinist to help support our metal manufacturing customers with their tooling/tool crib inventory systems. If you would like to apply your machining knowledge in a new direction, this would be a great fit! $28 - $32/hour starting wage M – F, 7am - 4pm with occasional overtime Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance – Day 1 of Employment 401k with Match Generous Paid Time Off – Holidays, Personal & Vacation Machinist – Inventory / Tool Crib Specialist Responsibilities Gather customer tooling information at customer manufacturing locations. This may involve reviewing data in Excel or physically identifying tooling items. Upload or enter customer tooling information in master Excel spreadsheet. Ensure customer tooling items align with our current vendors. If necessary, work with inside support team to locate alternative items for the customer, checking pricing and delivery per customer requirements. Work as part of the installation team to install tool crib inventory software and hardware. Load tooling inventory data into software and troubleshoot errors. Organize tooling items, load items into vending equipment, take a complete tool crib inventory, and correct any discrepancies. Perform software maintenance and upgrades. Assist all existing customers with software and hardware support as needed. Train customers on the software. Throughout installation, update the customer on installation status, field questions and address concerns in a professional manner. Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required by the position. Machinist – Inventory / Tool Crib Specialist Requirements 2 years of Tool Room/Machining experience working with cutting tools Professional customer service and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Proficient PC/computer skills - especially Microsoft Excel Ability to work as a team or independently Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills Inventory experience helpful, i.e. cycle counting, inventory adjustments, etc. 40% travel, car or airplane Valid Driver's license & acceptable driving record IND123 Compensation details: 28-32 Hourly Wage PI86137916854b-25448-410376885c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
