1st Shift - Direct Hire position!
Job Summary: The position is responsible for fabricating individual parts and assemblies from simple to complex in a prototype environment
Responsibilities
- Fabricate parts to exact dimensional and angular print tolerances
- Occasionally assemble/disassemble simple fixtures and tooling
- This position requires the use of standard machine shop hand tools and measuring devices
Qualifications
- Experience using milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment (manual and CNC-controlled)
- Experience choosing proper tooling and setting feeds and speeds
- Ability to interpret printed part drawings and 3-D part models
- Ability to interpret ANSI/ISO dimensioning and symbols, including geometric tolerancing
- Experience with conversational CNC programming a plus
- Ability to machine parts using verbal instructions and CAM software
- NIMS training a plus
