Machinist

Our client in Mars PA is seeking a CNC Machinist. Positions will start on 1st Shift time will be 7am-330PM M-F.

Duties:

- Operates machine shop equipment to machine various materials
- following specifications from verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments and selects cutting tools for efficiency and quality.
- Sets up and operates lathes, mills, grinders, and more to perform machining operations.
- Fabricates complex parts with precision and suggests design changes for productivity.
- Works with sheet metal and tubing, using hand and power-driven machines.
- Maintains knowledge of industry, machinery, safety regulations, and provides necessary reports.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.



Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to make Edits to G & M Codes
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools.
- Understanding of blueprints and routers.
- Excellent communication and basic math skills.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
