Machinist

Location: Pine Bluff
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime Available | No Weekends

Local company in Pine Bluff is hiring an experienced Machinist. We are looking for someone with true machinist experience, not just machine operator experience. Must be able to set up, run, troubleshoot, and make basic programming changes on CNC machines.

Job Duties:
  • Operate manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, and drill presses
  • Set up machines by loading material, installing tooling, and adjusting settings
  • Run Okuma CNC lathe and CNC mill
  • Read blueprints and drawings to machine parts correctly
  • Fabricate and modify metal parts such as shafts, brackets, housings, and other components
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished parts
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
  • Previous machinist experience required
  • Experience with CNC setup and operation
  • Basic CNC programming skills required
  • Okuma experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic
