1st Shift Machinist – Press Brake Operator (Hydraulic)

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for our client in Chesterfield,MI. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience operating and programming hydraulic press brake machines.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Press Brake experience, with press brake operation as a primary job responsibility

• Ability to program directly at the machine

• Proven experience with efficient job setup and changeovers

• Ability to maintain and modify CNC programs as needed

• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints

• Proficient in using standard measuring tools and inspection equipment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

• Ability to lift 30+ lbs without assistance

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs require

Schedule:

• 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour Overtime shift) or

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shift)

• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (as needed)

Compensation:

• $18–$21 per hour, based on experience
