Job Description SUMMARY The Machinist performs routine maintenance repairs and installation of roating equipment dfor Martin Operation Partnership Smackover Refinery. Job Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Will work under close supervision with more experienced mechanic to maintain Martins rotating equipment. As experience is gained assignments will become more complex and will be performed under more general supervision. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. Work extended hours when necessary and be able to be called out for emergency work. Ensure that area that requires maintenance is safe. Ensure tools and equipment needed to do the task are available. Ensure that all mechanical activities performed meet the requirements of Martin for applicable codes specifications SOPs or requirements. Perform other related tasks as instructed.
