Machinist - Trainee

Our client, an industry leader in high-speed, oil-free HVAC compressor manufacturing, is seeking a Machinist - Trainee to join their team. As a Machinist - Trainee, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist - Trainee

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Pay Range: $23

Shift: 3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday 10:00PM - 6:00AM

What's the Job?

• Assist in the mass production of oil-free HVAC compressors by following detailed instructions and safety protocols
• Participate in component parts preparation and line assembly operations
• Learn to program, set up, and operate CNC machines under supervision
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting parts and troubleshooting issues
• Document production activities and communicate effectively with team members

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
