Job Title: Machinist Location: Tulsa, OK (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour on W2 Shift: 1st shift, 6:00am-2:30pm with OT starting at 4am IF deemed necessary. We cannot guarantee OT hours.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
This role is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce precision components that meet quality and production standards.
Responsibilities include:
Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments
Adjust offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area
Accurately complete required documentation and production records
Must Haves:
0-3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in CNC setup and operation (mills and/or lathes)
Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
Ability to read engineering drawings, and perform simple arithmetic calculations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred but not required
