The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to produceprecision parts and components used in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains Computer Numerical Control (CNC) software and machinery tosupport precision computer-aided manufacturing. Responsible for programming, setup, andexecution of CNC operations to produce high-quality components that meet exactspecifications, while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety and industrystandards.
Operates and maintains precision machining equipment, including grinders, lathes, millingmachines, and drilling tools. Responsible for setting up, adjusting, and safely running thesemachines to fabricate components to exact specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency,and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machiningrequirements, specifications, and tolerances. Translates design documents into accurateproduction processes, ensuring components are fabricated to precise dimensions andquality standards.
Applies strong mathematical skills to perform precise measurements, calculations, anddimensional analysis during machining processes. Ensures accuracy in maintainingtolerances, verifying specifications, and producing components that meet rigorous qualityand technical standards.
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey technicalinformation, collaborate with team members, and document machining processes. Ensuresclarity in instructions, reports, and production records to support accuracy, efficiency, andcompliance with organizational standards.

Performs reverse engineering of replacement equipment parts by analyzing existingcomponents, creating technical drawings, and developing accurate specifications. Ensurescompatibility and functionality of newly fabricated parts, supporting maintenance operationsand minimizing equipment downtime.
Maintains a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations to promote a safeworking environment and reduce the risk of workplace accidents.
