Summary: The Coordinator of Magnet shall be responsible for the effective management of the overall school-based specialty program and the class or classes to which they are assigned. The Coordinator of Magnet shall implement an educational program responsive to school needs according to state and local policy, including the Louisiana Components of Effective Teaching that aligns to the magnet component emphasized on site.

Essential Functions/Qualifications/Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A Master's Degree from an accredited college/university or five years work experience preferred. Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university. Must hold a valid Teaching Certificate.
