What We’re Looking For:
- ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
- 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Minimum of one year of experience in MR, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
- Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
What You'll Do:
The MRI Technologist II Acute will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting. The acute technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures.
