Overview:

Our company, IST Management Services, is seeking an energetic & dynamic individual with a background in customer care and a strong passion in serving others to join our amazing team as a Mail Center Associate.  This position is located in Houston, TX and will consist of various mail related duties, including delivering inbound mail & packages, processing inbound/outbound shipments, heavy lifting, etc, all performed within a corporate working environment.  The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented & process driven and willing to train, learn and be ready to grow in their professional career!

 

IST Management Services is the fastest growing, national facilities management company in the industry.  IST Management is a BPO Company (Business Process Outsourcing) specializing in providing solutions for the management of physical and digital information through Facilities Management, eDiscovery, and Electronic Document Management services.

 

Hourly Compensation: $19.00 - $19.00 USD per hr (DOE)

 

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Location: This amazing opportunity is centrally located in downtown Houston, TX

 

Responsibilities:

The Mail Center Associate position will handle various mail related duties, including delivering inbound mail & packages, processing inbound/outbound shipments, heavy lifting, etc all performed within a corporate working environment.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Mail Operations - Sort & deliver incoming mail according to established procedures
  • Shipping/Receiving Services - Receive & scan in/out overnight packages
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Adhere to safety, security and business procedure guidelines
  • Provide support within the operation and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications:

The qualifications of the Mail Center Associate position must be detailed oriented and process driven with a background and focus in customer care.  Additional qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs with aid
