Mail Clerk

Sr On-Site Service Specialist 1-year contract starting immediately. Responsible for supporting daily mail operations, high-volume copy/print services, document imaging, shipping and receiving, filing, and general office support functions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing mail, postage, mail runs, fax distributions, and customer service inquiries
• Operate high-volume copy, printing, scanning, document imaging, and bindery equipment
• Perform binding, finishing, hole drilling, shrink wrapping, stapling, cutting, stacking, and related production tasks
• Use document image handling software, MS Office, email, and document management systems to open, save, retrieve, transfer, and distribute files
• Maintain convenience copiers by conducting daily quality checks, clearing paper jams, restocking supplies, and reporting technical issues
• Maintain service logs, meter readings, inventory records, billing logs, and supply levels
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including sorting, distributing, and delivering materials to designated locations
• Perform filing, purging, archiving, and document management tasks as requested
• Respond to and coordinate customer service calls and job requests while providing status updates and support
• Deliver completed work throughout the facility and travel between buildings when necessary
• Support meeting room and conference room setup, office moves, light maintenance, re-lamping, housekeeping, and occasional cleaning duties
• Work in a physically active environment requiring standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting materials up to 50 55 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 2 years of related mailroom, copy/print, document imaging, or office support experience preferred
• Strong customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills
• Good PC skills, including experience with MS Office and email systems
• Strong organizational, filing, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, fax machines, postage meters, calculators, and bindery equipment
• Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials in a mail center environment
• Business casual dress code: polo or similar shirt, slacks or jeans, and comfortable shoes
