This is routine and repetitive work in the retrieval, distribution and processing of mail, packages, records, or materials within and between the Judicial Branch facilities and other public and private entities using various modes of transportation (foot, automobile, or public transportation). Work involves routine vehicle operation and minor clerical work.
A messenger typically works in a large complex, delivering records, mail, supplies, or books. Delivery requests are usually in the form of verbal instructions as to the organizational unit or person to whom delivery is to be made. Supervision is received from an administrative supervisor who reviews work.Job Type: Exempt
