What You’ll Do
As a Mail Room Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Sorting and organizing incoming mail and packages, ensuring they are placed in the correct locations or directed to the appropriate departments.
  • Packaging and preparing outgoing mail, ensuring all items are correctly addressed and securely sealed.
  • Loading and unloading mail from trucks, carts, or storage areas, lifting up to 75 lbs throughout your shift.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to mail handling procedures.
  • Tracking and documenting mail movements to ensure accountability and accuracy.
  • Using critical thinking to resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Assisting with inventory of mailing supplies and reporting replenishment needs.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a mailroom, warehouse, or logistics role is a plus but not required.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and remain active throughout the day.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Self-motivated attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
