Job Title: Mail Services Associate Job Location: Westford, MA (Onsite) Job Duration: 5 Months (Potential for extension) Schedule: MF, 8 AM 5 PM Job Description: Role Summary Responsible for all aspects of mailroom operations for a building or campus Part of the Office Operations function, providing office support to clients, business functions, or individuals Key Responsibilities Audit delivered items against delivery invoices Approve or reject deliveries based on inspections; check for contraband Ensure packages are delivered same day or notify consignee of next-day arrival Deliver mail, packages, copy products, and stationery per daily schedule Ensure shipped packages are protected against damage Process shipment requests with vendors and advise package owners of arrangements Apply postage and required identification to outgoing mail/packages Stock copy rooms and provide first communication for copier fleet production Check and replenish mail/postage supplies daily Answer inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors Gather/analyze data to solve complex problems; recommend new techniques Suggest process improvements to enhance team efficiency Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 34 years of job-related experience Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Strong understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within job function Ability to evaluate and communicate complex content clearly Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Advanced organizational skills with inquisitive mindset Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
