Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Mail Processing, Pallet Jack, Physical Demands, Shipping/Receiving, System Operations
Mail Systems Operator:- Ensures proper functionality of conveyor to the mail sorting system.
- Place orders in EMM trays and prepare for shipping.
- Place expedited orders into expedited envelopes for delivery.
- Review primary sort for ongoing activity changes.
- Complete mailroom audits for accuracy.
- Match multiple quantity orders and prepare for shipping.
- Ensure packages are labeled properly for delivery vendors and move Gaylords using hand jack for pallets upon arrival of shipping carrier into trailer for outgoing delivery.
- Moves pallets upon arrival of FedEx or other shipping carrier into trailer using hand jack for pallets for outgoing delivery.
- Generate and submit mail reports and paperwork.
Work with management to identify and resolve delays in delivery issues and other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:- Mail Systems Operator Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling floor pallet jack. Required to work and stand for duration of a 12-hour shift.
Shift:
6a-6p with 2, 15-minute breaks and 1, 30-minute lunch all paid
Rotating shift working every other weekend
