Mailing/Lettershop Equipment Operator- 2nd and 3rd shifts

Do you enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and producing accurate, high-quality work? Baesman Group is looking for Mailing/Lettershop Equipment Operators to join our second- and third-shift production teams.

Baesman Group is a print and marketing company that helps leading brands deliver personalized communications to their customers. In this role, you will set up and operate inkjet and inserting equipment used to produce and prepare direct-mail projects for delivery.

Previous mailing or lettershop experience is preferred. We also encourage candidates with machine-operating, manufacturing, or other relevant production experience to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate inkjet, inserting, and other mailing equipment according to job specifications.
• Review job tickets and prepare equipment and materials for each production run.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform quality checks throughout each run to ensure accuracy and compliance with job and USPS requirements.
• Tray, band, label, and organize mail while maintaining the required ZIP code sequence.
• Read postal documentation and sort mail according to applicable requirements.
• Identify basic equipment issues and communicate needed repairs.
• Stage materials and completed work to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist in other production areas when needed.

Requirements

What Will Help You Succeed

• Previous experience operating mailing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify basic equipment issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets, written instructions, and postal documentation.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to move pallets and postal containers as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
