    Harcros Chemicals is seeking a dependable and organized Mailroom Associate I to support daily mailroom, shipping, and office operations. This role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, managing office and shipping supply inventory, supporting internal departments with fulfillment requests, and maintaining organized and efficient mailroom operations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sort and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail and express packages.

    • Track inventory and order mailroom, shipping, workplace, and office supplies as needed.

    • Process supply and label requests within established deadlines.

    • Support internal departments with mailings, new hire packets, special projects, and shipping requests.

    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the mailroom and sample room areas.

    • Receive and direct visitors and deliver packages throughout the facility.

    • Manage chemical sample inventory and support sample fulfillment activities.

    • Process imported samples and maintain related records and documentation.

    • Assist with recycling programs for ink, toner, and other office materials.

    • Support hazardous material handling and emergency response activities in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

    • Provide occasional coverage for other departments and perform other duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • 1-3 months of related experience or training preferred.

    • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

    Required Skills

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions.

    • Effective communication and customer service skills.

    • Basic math and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
