Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on
Mailroom & Print Services Specialist to support daily mail, shipping, print production, and material distribution operations within a professional corporate environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, operating equipment, and keeping a busy operation organized. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, dependable, and willing to learn all aspects of the mailroom and print services operation.
You will join a team of approximately
6–7 employees and will be cross-trained to provide coverage across different functions and locations as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sort, organize, bundle, label, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and materials.
- Deliver mail and packages throughout the facility accurately and on schedule.
- Process outgoing shipments using USPS, FedEx, UPS, and internal tracking systems.
- Scan, log, track, and document accountable, certified, registered, and time-sensitive mail.
- Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, scanners, inserters, and related machinery.
- Operate print production equipment such as digital printers, cutters, folders, and binders.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting, including clearing jams, replacing supplies, and identifying equipment issues.
- Inspect printed materials and mail pieces for incorrect addresses, misprints, alignment problems, damage, or other quality issues.
- Package, seal, organize, and prepare materials for internal distribution or shipment.
- Prioritize urgent, express, legal, and time-sensitive deliveries while meeting daily courier cutoff times.
- Use computer systems to track mail, packages, shipments, and daily workflow.
- Assist employees with delivery questions, missing packages, shipment issues, and other mailroom-related requests.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures and use required PPE when appropriate.
- Cross-train across mailroom, shipping, printing, and material-handling functions.
- Provide coverage at another office location when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a mailroom, shipping/receiving, print production, warehouse, facilities, office services, or similar hands-on environment.
- Ability to accurately sort and distribute mail and packages.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn mail tracking and shipping systems.
- Comfortable operating scanners, postage equipment, printers, and other mailroom or production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely lift, move, stack, and transport packages weighing up to 50–60 pounds.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Experience
- USPS, FedEx, and/or UPS shipping systems.
- Mail scanning and tracking applications.
- Digital print production equipment.
- Postage meters, scanners, inserters, cutters, folders, and binders.
- Certified, registered, legal, or other accountable mail.
- Shipping, receiving, logistics, or package handling.
- Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience providing coverage across multiple office locations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are helpful but not required.

During the first
30–90 days, the primary focus will be learning the full operation so you can confidently provide coverage across mailroom, shipping, printing, and related support functions.
