Job Title: Mailroom Clerk Job Location: Parma, OH (Onsite with free parking) Job Duration: 3 Months Shift - Mon-Fri/ 3 PM 11:30 PM General Duties Distribute and handle incoming/outgoing mail and faxes Fold and insert documents into envelopes Frequent sitting, standing, and walking without assistance Occasional lifting of 50 lbs or more with assistance Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English Candidate Requirements Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management skills Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook General computer skills for tracking information Responsibilities Operate high-volume duplicating, production, sorting, mailing, or bindery equipment Perform associated copying tasks Ship and receive products and supplies Sort, distribute, and handle incoming/outgoing mail/faxes; apply postage Provide copier maintenance and/or repair of customer site equipment Perform bindery, QC, final check, housekeeping, hospitality, file services, call center, and reception duties as needed Support building functions such as meeting setups and light maintenance Run high-volume/production copy machines; perform binding and finishing work Inspect convenience copiers daily for quality; clear paper jams and report issues Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues Set up equipment (add toner, stock paper, etc.) Scan and/or image documents Provide temporary/occasional reception services Maintain records for management reports and supply inventories Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to personnel/drop-off points Calculate charges for jobs performed; maintain logs and generate reports Respond to and coordinate service calls Perform filing duties, including purging and archiving documents Deliver completed jobs to designated locations Maintain daily meter and service logs Travel between customer buildings if required Answer customer questions regarding job status or feasibility Keep copier areas neat and stocked Perform shipping and receiving duties Set up meeting and conference rooms Assist with building occupant moves Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties Occasionally perform dock work in a mailroom environment Work overtime on nights/weekends as needed, including emergency response Use equipment such as shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment, jogger, tape machine, stackers, stapler, scales, copier, calculator, fax machine, postage meter, and PC Understand client Services Portfolio & Technology Capture data for client MOR, SPG, and job logs Perform other duties as assigned Dress Code Business casual Interview Information In-person interviews May include group interviews Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
